Measles Vaccine/Neurological Disorder Link Has Been Covered Up Since 1972
By Tami Canal
Believe it or not, vaccines and evidence of injury and harm go back far longer than most people realize. And according to this report (and documents obtained by its authors from Health Impact News) a link between the measles vaccine and neurological disorders has been observed since the 1970s.
According to Freedom of Information Act-requested documents, the UK government has had “serious concerns” about the measles vaccine’s potential to cause a condition known as SSPE, or Subacute Slerosing Panencephalitis.
This particular disorder is capable of altering a person’s behavior, memory and coordination, leading to fits, blindness and even death.
It all began with a meeting in 1972, titled ‘Surveillance and Registration of Subacute Sclerosing Panencephalitis,’ which included many of the UK’s top health professionals. A memo published in the report includes the following excerpt:
“There has been some concern recently about the suggestion that measles vaccines might occasionally give rise to Subacute Sclerosing Encephalitis. Professor Sir Charles Stuart-Harris, as chairman of the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation, has asked whether members of the Association would be prepared to notify cases we see…”
The document and others strongly suggest that the measles vaccines has been linked to potentially serious health problems since 1972 (see the full documents here).
The article continues, sharing documents from another meeting a staggering 15 years later showing that the new MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) “triple-shot” vaccine had been linked to causing cases of SSPE.
Could these SSPE cases actually be, or lead to, autism itself? Potentially, according to research from Dr. Rebecca Carley, as mentioned in the article. She believes that autism can be a “non-fatal form of SSPE,” and refers to a document used as a basis for teaching internal medicine students across the world. From the article:
Referring to the Harrison’s paper on SSPE, a document used to teach internal medicine to medical students all over the world, Dr. Carley says that it is clear that what is being described is in fact autism. In fact, if you read the Harrison’s 10th Edition published in 1983, four years before the ARVI meeting, it states that SSPE can be caused by the measles vaccine.
The problems were documented in vaccinated kids as late as 1988 and 1997 meetings.
The World Health Organization says that the vaccines have saved millions of lives over the past 15 years, part of the reason why so many parents are confused about what choices to make.
While the CDC and other government bodies continue to insist these vaccines are “safe” for the majority of those who receive them, they also seem unwilling to discuss issues such as these for fear of opening a larger can of worms.
