2018 World Cup Football: A Classic Case of Divide and Rule

-By Paul A. Philips

“Give the people bread and circuses and they shall never revolt.”

Another World Cup football competition has begun. This time it is indeed in Russia. Knowing that the competition will keep the masses heavily focussed on the games will be quite pleasing for the world’s ruling elite (or whatever you want to call them). As with all sports, they know that these Bread and Circuses games serve as a distraction: A way of disempowering the masses by getting them to focus their attention away from the things that really matter, like how they, the elite, are screwing them all over.  –Thus, the 2018 World Cup Football competition is another classic case of divide and rule to manipulate the masses

The idea of keeping the people distracted from having the realization that they are ruled unfairly goes as far back as the days of the Roman Empire. To try and make them popular and divert the focus of attention away from a number of unpopular decisions, the Roman Empire would dole out free food and provide sports arena entertainment in the Coliseum…

Today, more effective than ever with modern technology and extensive coverage of the games, sports divide and rule mind control has reached unprecedented levels of keeping the masses dumb, docile and distracted. Their general consensus reality has been manufactured by:

1. Going into agreement with the sheep-like masses

Like, for example, going into agreement with those who support the same sports team… Programmed and brainwashed, some may be obsessed, having an obsession, for instance, with their team’s stars, while not knowing that much about anything else. -Never mind about the fact that our world and its populations are seriously under threat through one thing and another…

With the ‘my team versus yours’ herd mentality, there are those capable of outbursts of unscrupulous violence on opposing supporters… -All caused by the influence of the group agreement, unable to discern right from wrong.

2. Accepting authority figures

Another way in which the masses have had their reality manufactured is by accepting authority figures. For instance, TV sports presenters (or other presenters) who come across as rather avuncular characters stay in their jobs for years. That’s because the more familiar the masses are with these characters the more likely they will recognize them as authority figures and accept what they say. Unable to think outside of the mainstream media TV programming and brainwashing, authority figures keep the masses permanently hooked in…

The payoffs

Bread and Circuses divide and rule allow certain sportsmen to be given huge payoffs. Like for instance the Manchester United football player Alexis Sanchez reported to have a weekly earning of £600,000. Then there are the other similar sky-high earnings made by some of the World Cup Football superstars. And what about those top American baseball stars earnings..?

Social engineering

Whether it’s with football or other sports the divide and rule social engineering programme is part of a carefully planned dictatorship. One that’s been in progress for many years, as mentioned by the likes of Bertrand Russell, Julian and Aldous Huxley…

Seeing the games for what they are

Whether it’s with the 2018 World Cup Football or any other sports events, the games are indeed enjoyed by many. However, the issues / concerns are in the circumstances where far too much attention is given to them.  -Where the heavily affected masses acquiesce into one mind controlled entity, easier for the elite to manipulate. Control of perception is the key: Therefore, the solution is not about boycotting or stopping these sports games. The solution is to see the games for what they are, don’t let them overly consume you.
